PURPOSE:To improve a compression molding apparatus for compression molding a synthetic resin handle body and integrally coupling it to the coupling projection member of a vessel cap main body whereby a synthetic resin raw material is allowed to sufficiently flow over both surfaces of the coupling projection member thereby to enable the handle body to be compression molded excellently, and also improve the apparatus so that the vessel cap main body and compression molded handle body can be discharge readily promptly from the mold. CONSTITUTION:A compression molding apparatus is equipped with a mold comprising a first mold part 94 and a second mold part. The first mold part 94 includes a movable material 99 which can move freely between the molding position and the spacing position. On the movable material 99, a support surface is formed which functions to support the skirt wall of the vessel cap main body, and thereon a supporting projection is also formed which serves to support the coupling projection member of the vessel cap main body. Furthermore, a movable material shifting mechanism 127 is disposed therein which acts to position the movable material to the molding position and spacing position selectively. |
