Solar cells mounted on a frame with 360 degree rotation (17) and 180 degree horizontal plane (18) movement so that the cells can be made to track the sun for maximum efficiency. The structure may also be parked in a downward facing position to avoid dust accumulation, dew at night or water and snow accumulations. The solar cell modules (10) are mounted on the face of the carrier frame (12) which is again mounted on a rotor base (14). A light sensitive cell (21) measures the incident light and controls the electronic tracking circuit (20) used to orientate the electromechanical frame drive so that the individual solar cells (11) in each module (10) receive any power providing light available, this includes facing the cells to the cloud covered sky to receive diffused light and holding the frame in the horizontal position.
