PURPOSE:To provide a discharge regulator for a reciprocating compressor capable of changing automatically and freely the discharge amount of gas to be discharged. CONSTITUTION:Pressure-regulated air regulated with control air being fed out of an air supply source 11 via an electropneumatic converter 14 and a booster 17 is fed to a control cylinder 10 via a pressure-regulated air feed pipe 16, whereby a feed piston 9 is operated and an unloader valve 4 is opened or closed. With this unloader valve 4 opened or closed, a cylinder 1 and a clearance pocket 2 are interconnected to each other via an inflow port 3 or interrupted, and since a gas inlet quantity by this cylinder 1 is adjusted, the discharge of outlet gas is regulated by an increase or decrease in the gas inlet quantity. |
