PURPOSE: To use a cartridge of different shape by pouring a mixture of water and air by a water injector under the pressure, securing impermeability during the extracting operation through compression of a circular bead of an open cartridge, and pouring the mixture at the part of several mm below the upper surface of the open cartridge in the elevating direction. CONSTITUTION: A cartridge 1 of coffee comprises a cup 2 having a horizontal wall 3 and a base 4. A flange 5 is of annular bead type and firmly secured in an extracting device. The cartridge 1 is formed on aluminum or plastics. The extracting device is provided with a water injector, a tightening ring 8 having a tightening inclined surface 9 on a lower end, and a flat circular seal surface 10 made of rubber to secure impermeability. A cartridge holder 11 comprises an upper cylindrical sealed body 12, a base 13, and a handle 14. The horizontal wall 3 can be prevented from being torn by the cartridge holder 11 during the extracting process, and the cartridge of different shape can be used in the same extracting device. |
