<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption of a thermal head, and to increase printing speed by composing a heat-insulating layer of the quality of material having low thermal conductivity and excellent heat-resistant pulse properties. CONSTITUTION:A thermal head has an insulating substrate, a heat-insulating layer formed onto the insulating substrate, a heating resistor shaped onto the heat-insulating layer and a feed body formed onto the heating resistor, and the heat-insulating layer is manufactured of the mixture of polyimide and zirconia spherical fine particles.</p> |
