PURPOSE:To present the POS terminal system for controlling the volume of the buzzer tone of a buzzer for recognition confirmation at a bar code recognizing device in proportion to the amount of sales data and controlling the buzzer tone of the buzzer for recognition confirmation so that the sound can not be same as that of an adjacent equipment. CONSTITUTION:This system is equipped with plural POS terminal equipments 1, terminal controller 2 to control these equipments, and plural bar code recognizing devices 3 being connected to the above-mentioned POS terminal equipments 1 and having the buzzers for recognition confirmation. The amount of sales data per hour from the above-mentioned bar code recognizing devices 3 is judged and in proportion to the amount of the sales data, the volume of the above-mentioned buzzers for recognition confirmation is controlled. Further, the buzzer tone is controlled so as to differ the tones of the adjacent buzzers for recognition confirmation as mentioned above. |
