PURPOSE: To provide a high contrast ratio by dividing a partition wall for preventing crosstalk into first and second partition walls coming in contact with each other by shifting by the constant width, and integrally forming a third partition wall with the first partition wall in the direction perpendicularly crossing to the first partition wall. CONSTITUTION: Stripe-shaped anode A and cathode K are arranged in an X-Y matrix shape on each inner surface of a front plate 10 and a back plate 20 arranged at constant intervals. First and second partitions B1, B2 coming in contact with each other at their tips so as to shift each other are formed between the plates 10, 20. One sheet in which many squares are formed in a matrix shape is formed in the first partition wall B1 together with the third partition wall B3 perpendicularly crossing to the first partition wall B1. The partitions B1, B2 form a unit partition wall, are offset by the constant width, and almost a Z-shaped discharge path is formed. An auxiliary anode A' is arranged in the same direction as the main anode A, and formed on one surface at the lower end of the partition wall B1. |
