The subject of the present invention consists of a colouring pallet (13) capable of indicating the exceeding of a predetermined temperature and of being applied in particular onto frozen, deep-frozen or similar foodstuffs. According to the invention, the said pallet (13) consists of a material whose melting temperature is approximately equal to the temperature of which it is intended to indicate the exceeding. This pallet (13) is applied above a support panel (12) with a clear (light) colour, with a view to demonstrating the coloration caused by its melting. <IMAGE>
