The subject of the invention is a bridging device (1) intended to connect the facing lateral edges (4, 5) of two solid elements (A, B) separated by a longitudinal slot (6) and consisting of a strip (2) made of deformable material which covers the slot (6) and the upper faces (4', 5') of the lateral edges (4, 5) of the two elements (A, B) with interposition of an adhesive (7). According to the invention, the strip (2) consists of at least two parts joined to each other longitudinally and produced so as to exhibit different rigidities, respectively an elastically deformable part (8) and at least one lateral part (10, 11) exhibiting a sufficient rigidity in the plane of the lower face (3) of the strip (2) in order to keep its outer edge (16) in a plane perpendicular to the plane of the lower face (3).
