摘要 PURPOSE: To determine the concentration of components in a medium by measuring a propagation characteristic of mechanical signals, e.g. a propagation speed. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of transmitters 19, 20 and a plurality of receivers 20, 22 are set inside a bucket 5 to which a sample 16 is inserted. The transmitters 19, 20 transduce an electric signal to mechanical vibration. The receivers 20, 22 transduce the transmitted mechanical signal attenuated at least partly to the electric signal. The transduced electric signal is, via an electric wire 12 and a rotary electric probe 11, sent to a measuring device 14 by an electric wire 13 connected to a terminal on a drum 8. The device 14 converts and measures at least one of propagation characteristics of the mechanical signal between a transmission point and a reception point, e.g. a propagation speed in a medium, a propagation time, an attenuation, etc., to a fluid saturation. Based on the measured result, a process, control means 15 determines a concentration distribution of components in the medium.
