PURPOSE:To prevent an increase in temperature of an inside iron core caused by thermal conduction at a heat generating section by providing a heat pipe at the outside of an out-duct through an end plug section from the central part of the iron core. CONSTITUTION:A heat pipe 10 is inserted into the fixed shaft section in an inside duct 3. And one of the tip sections provided at the end section of the inside duct 3 is brought out to the outside of the out-duct through a rounded conical end plug 12 and radiation fins 11 are installed at the outside of the duct. Working fluids such as sodium, sodium potassium or the like are accommodated in the heat pipe 10. In this way, the inside iron core will be maintained below a critical working temperature and pump driving efficiency will be improved. |
