BLIND RIVET-DRIVER

PURPOSE: To provide a riveting machine having a rivet housing means particularly suitable for riveting using a double head type rivet. CONSTITUTION: This blind riveting machine comprises the pneumatically operating housing means 7 which engages with a mandrel 12 of a blind rivet assembly 11 and an air pressure means which is controlled by a pressure sensor existing in this housing 4. This sensor monitors the vacuum degree within the housing generated by a vacuum generator and emits a signal when the vacuum degree exceeds a prescribed level. This signal controls the operation of an adjusting valve for carrying out the opening and closing action of the housing means.
