PURPOSE: To provide a capillary tube band electrophoretic separating apparatus capable of altering a capillary tube without user's financial burden and mechanical handling. CONSTITUTION: An electrophoretic capillary tube 16 is removably mounted in a cassette shell 28 detachably mounted in a support structure made of a cylindrical fan housing 12 and a support wall 14, a power source is connected to the entrance/exist end of the tube, and electrophoretic process is conducted by the tube. The shell 28 has an opening back surface clamped to the structure, and the tube 16 can be easily accessed into the shell. In the shell, the tube 16 is held in a spiral shape by support means (rib 18). The tube 16 can be easily replaced with the tube having the length and diameter conforming to the characteristics of electrophoretic application without using a tool in the case of clogging. |
