<p>PURPOSE: To reduce a heat to be transferred from an exhaust unit of a vehicle to a passenger compartment and a baggage room by constituting a heat shield plate of a heat reflecting component and a heat shield component. CONSTITUTION: The heat shield plate 10 comprises a heat shield component 12, and a heat reflecting component 14 having a higher thermal expansion coefficient. The plate 10 is combined so that at least part of a surface 20 is superposed on a part of a surface 24 on a common area. The components 12, 14 are limited in a relative movement at a periphery of the common area, but free in the relative movement in the area. When a heat is emitted to the plate 10, the reflecting component, since it has high thermal expansion coefficient, tends to expand at a higher speed than that of the component 12. However, since it is supplied fastly at the periphery of the area, the component 14 cannot be expanded in a direction parallel to the surface 20, 24 to the component 12. Thus, a stress generated at the plate 10 can be released by providing a space between the surfaces 20 and 21 in the area.</p> |
