<p>PURPOSE: To plot the specified polygon within an image only if a single pass or a pair of operations are executed. CONSTITUTION: This system has a multibit frame buffer, a writing mask making at least 2 bits of the frame buffer, a Z buffer which is possible to be turned on/off and a color map on which a background, a visible line and a hidden-line color are loaded. After the Z buffer is turned off, the one bit plane of the frame buffer is made use possible by the writing mask, other bit planes are made use impossible, the hidden-line color is selected from the color map 10, a polygon is plotted by the selected color, next, the states of the Z buffer and each bit plane are switched, a background color is selected from the color map and the inside of the polygon is plotted by the background color, a visible line color is selected from the color map and the polygon is plotted.</p> |
