PURPOSE: To conceal an outwardly extending hardware of a transom bracket by providing a cover for concealing the transom bracket having a recessed surface adjacent to a mounting flange on the transom bracket and a transom mounting bolt part projected outwardly from the flange of the transom bracket. CONSTITUTION: A portion 42 extended downwardly from an upper part 40 to be placed on the top of a transom 28 of a hull of a transom bracket 32 includes a flange 44 having a mounting hole 60, a surface 46 engaged with the outside surface of the transom 28 of the hull, an outside surface 48 and a recessed surface 50 isolated from the outside surface 48. The transom bracket 32 has a cover 68 for concealing a bolt end 61, a nut 62, and a washer 66, the cover 68 surrounds the flange 44, a leg part 72 and the bottom edge part of a back part 74 are engaged with the recessed surface 50 to conceal the whole area of the transom mounting screw including the flange 44 and the recessed surface 50. |
