<p>PURPOSE:To realize the manual action of a magnetic tape device and to prevent the whole of the device from being stopped in the case that only a tape automatic loading device is out of order under a state that the magnetic tape device can act in the combined device of the magnetic tape device and the tape automatic loading device. CONSTITUTION:In the combined device of the magnetic tape device 1 and the tape automatic loading device 2, the magnetic tape device, which consists of the fault detection circuit 5 of the magnetic tape device, the fault detection circuit 6 of the tape automatic loading device and a main control circuit 7 provided with a function which switches the magnetic tape device to the manual action when the fault of the tape automatic loading device is detected, is switched to the manual action.</p> |
