PURPOSE: To provide a woven fabric which limitatively lets gas escape with expansion in a bag for a gas bag body and keeping particles or the like derived with combustion. CONSTITUTION: A gas bag for an air bag system is formed by a plain-weave woven fabric of synthetic threads. To keep particles 1 produced by combustion of igniting powder of a gas generator within the gas bag, the woven fabric is formed by threads having at most 470 dtex, and the fabric has a set of 16 to 23 threads per cm. Further, the threads are low-shrinkage threads in the bottom of the gas bag. |
