Diatomite, bentonite and zeolite are respectively pulverized to be screened by grains with different meshes and processed to the seedling bed soil by the steps of: (a) mixing 5-15 wt.% bentonite of 60 or larger mesh grains and 85-90 wt.% zeolite of various grains, adjusting pH of the mixture to dry and make the mixture adsorb N, P, K, B, Fe. MgO and other element for seedling culture; (b) mixing 65-80 wt.% of (a) mixture with 20-35 wt.% diatomite of various grains; (c) mixing 85-90 wt.% of (b) mixture with 10-15 wt.% of one or more of silica, red clay, black clay and vermiculite dried and pulverized into 20 or more mesh grains, with pH adjusted; (d) repeating mechanical processing with the press, mixer, roller and sieve to produce a soil for seedling culture. The soil having cation exchange capacity, adsorptive and water retaining property is resistent to disease and is adaptable to the change of environment.
