PURPOSE: To save a metal foil by feeding a metal foil sheet at a variable speed to a rotary die stamping apparatus such that a specified speed can be achieved when the metal foil sheet arrives at a stamping place. CONSTITUTION: A metal foil 27 being fed at a speed V3 from a feed roller 1 passes through a rotary capstan 15 and arrives at a rotary capstan 16. A pinch roller 2 rotating through a second feeding means abuts against the capstan 16 to drive a feeding foil 27 at the speed V3 . The pinch roller 2 is sustained at a substantially constant speed regardless of acceleration of the metal foil 27. After being separated from a die roller 6, the metal foil 27 is fed between a rotary capstan 23 and a rotary pinch roller 9 via a rotary capstan 30. It is then fed through a rotary capstan 24 and wound around a rotary winding roller 8. The winding roller 8 is rotated at the speed V3 by a winding means 25. |
