<p>PURPOSE: To provide an inorganic support catalyst for preparation of ethylidene diacetate and preparation of the catalyst and preparation of ethylidene diacetate using it in a continuous process. CONSTITUTION: The catalyst is expressed by a general formula; Ma Pb S where M is a compound selected from (CH3 CO2 )2 Pd and RhCl(CO) [P(C6 H5 )3 ]2 ; P is a compound selected from triphenylphosiphine, nicotinamide and nicotinic acid; S is the support selected from diatomaceous earth,γ-alumina, silica, TiO2 and activated carbon; (a) is molar number necessary for the catalyst preparation; (b) is molar number of a promoter. The catalyst is prepared by adding S into dichloromethane dissolving M and P to precipitate, followed by refluxing at 30-50 deg.C, vaporizing solvent, and drying a residue at vacuum. By reacting the catalyst, methyl acetate and iodomethane in the presence of a promoter at 90-250 deg.C and at 20-70 atm, ethylidene diacetate is prepared.</p> |
