Pouring spout including a body (2) made at least partially of a gas-permeable refractory material. This lining essentially has the following composition by weight: SiO2: 50 to 80%, Al2O3: 5 to 15%, B2O3: 5 to 20%, K2O: 1 to 3%, Na2O: 0 to 15%, Fe2O3: 0.5 to 2%, CO2O3/MoO3: 0 to 3%, C: 1 to 5%, others: 0 to 1.5% or, according to another preferred example, is used starting from an aqueous suspension containing approximately 30 to 85% by weight of a finely divided constituent chosen from fused silica grains, alumina powder, zirconia powder, mullite powder, and alumina balls; 0 to approximately 10% by weight of a ceramic filler chosen from alumina/silica fibres, zirconia fibres, titanium dioxide fibres, chromium/alumina fibres, alumina balls and zirconia balls; approximately 15 to 30% by weight of water; 0 to 7% by weight of a binder chosen from sodium hexamethaphosphate, silicon silicate and acrylic resins and 0 to approximately 40% by weight of a glass-forming frit. <IMAGE> |
