发明名称 METHOD FOR CRACKING AND IMMOBILIZING CO2
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To efficiently crack and immobilize gaseous CO2 by bringing the gaseous CO2 into contact at 200 to 500 deg.C with activated Fe obtd. by nearly completely reducing magnetite. CONSTITUTION:The magnetite to be used for producing the activated Fe is a compd. expressed by Fe3O4 and the hydrogen reduction of magnetite powder is executed by bringing the magnetite powder which is kept heated to 250 to 500 deg.C into contact with gaseous hydrogen and effecting a reduction reaction by [formula I] until the magnetite powder turns nearly completely to pure iron. The flow rate of the gaseous hydrogen per 1g of the magnetite is generally preferably about >=0.14liter/g.min. The activated Fe obtd. in such a manner has the effect of cracking and immobilizing the gaseous CO2 by [formula II] under heating 200 to 500 deg.C.</p>
