Composition containing… a) a lubricant or a hydraulic fluid and… b) at least one compound of the general formula I …<IMAGE>… where x=1 or 2 and, if x=1, n=2 and R is as defined for R1 or, if x=2, n=1 and R is as defined for R4, and R1 is alkyl having 1-25 C atoms, an unsubstituted or C1-C8alkyl-substituted cycloalkyl group having 5-12 C atoms, alkenyl having 2-18 C atoms, phenyl, naphthyl, C7-C18phenylalkyl, C7-C18alkylphenyl or -NR5R6, and R2 and R3 are identical or different and are alkyl having 1-18 C atoms, phenyl, naphthyl, C7-C18phenylalkyl or C7-C18alkylphenyl, or R2 and R3, together with the N atom linking them, form a 5- to 7-membered heterocyclic ring which may additionally contain an N atom or O atom, R4 is alkylene having 1-12 C atoms which may be interrupted by at least one -O- group or is alkenylene having 2-12 C atoms which may be interrupted by at least one -O- group, and R5 and R6 have the same definitions as R2 and R3, show an improved stability to oxidative degradation. |
