PURPOSE:To obtain the antenna which is shared among plural frequency bands, by correcting the mirror surface of the main reflective mirror for a high frequency band and by performing irradiation due to plural primary radiators and by synthesizing formed beams respectively. CONSTITUTION:In the formed beam antenna used for radio communication to plural stations such as sattelite relay stations, main reflective mirror 6 is so constituted that plural rotary paraboloid mirrors with one point F as the common focus have mirror axes of respective partial mirror surfaces directed toward different directions, and respective partial mirror surfaces are so combined that a desired region of the quasi millimeter wave band is irradiated efficiently, and radiation is performed from the primary radiator 7. In the microwave band, the primary radiators 8 and 9 are arranged around point F, and feeding is performed by feeding circuit 10. Relations of arrangement, the signal amplitude, and the phase between radiators 8 and 9 are controlled to form a desired radiation beam. As a result, the antenna is shared between plural different frequency bands of the quasi millimeter wave band, the microwave band, and approximately independent formed beams are synthesized in respective frequency bands. |
