The sash 20 of a reversible window is slidable by pins 28 in slots 8 in the styles 2, 4 of the main frame and is pivotally connected on its two outer sides by pins 24 to respective links 14. 16 which in turn are pivotally connected by pins 12 to the inner sides of the styles 2. 4 of the main frame adjacent an end of the slots 8 and in the closed position of the sash the links 16 lie between the sash and frame, the dimensioning of the links and positioning of the pins and slots being such as to allow the sash to rotate on the links and become reversed in relation to the frame.
