PURPOSE:To obtain a new cyclic polyetherdiamide compound having a coordination ability which is selective to a calcium ion and useful as a film-like calcium electrode. CONSTITUTION:A cyclic polyetherdiamide compound (e.g. a compound expressed by formula III) expressed by formula I [R1 to R4 are H or methyl and when R3 and R4 are H, R1 and R2 may be coupled to form a cyclohaxane ring; R5 is H or R7OCH2 (R2 is H, alkyl, etc.); R6 is formula II (X1, X2, X4 and X5 are H, halogen, etc.; X3 is H, halogen, etc.), etc.] is obtained e.g. by reacting a compound expressed by formula IV to formula VI with an acid halide compound. 1-40 pts.wt. of the compound expressed by formula I is blended with 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin and organic boron compound expressed by formula VII (Y1 to Y4 are H, halogen, etc.; h to k are 1-5; M is alkali metal, etc.) used at a molar ratio of 0.01-1.0 based on the compound expressed by formula I to provide the calcium-selective composition. |
