PURPOSE:To make an operating circuit for a spray gun unnecessary and to always hold a spraying distance constant, by varying the position of the spray gun through mechanically interlocking with an upward and downward moving mechanism for matching the height of center with the material to be inspected. CONSTITUTION:When a pipe to be inspected becomes smaller, its center moves downward, so fitting frame 3 is lowered by the upward and downward moving device 9. Then, disk 10 is also lowered simultaneously and at this time, disk 10 whose one end is regulated so as to hardly move in the upper and lower directions rotates counterclockwise. As a result, the contact between groove 13 and roller 16 moves to the internal diameter side of disk 10 and spray gun 4 also moves to the internal diameter side along groove 12. In this case, the inclination of groove 13 is determined according to the relation between the external diameter of the pipe to be inspected and variation in the height of center, so that the spraying distance is always kept constant. Consequently, the need to independently provide the driving mechanism for the spray gun is eliminated and the inexpensive and highly reliable device can be obtained. |
