PURPOSE: To provide a handle used for kitchenware and other manual operation type equipment which can surely be held by a person difficult to firmly hold it by providing an elliptic sectional body part having a cavity in the inner part, recessed parts on both sides thereof, and fin pieces in the recessed parts. CONSTITUTION: An universal handle 10 is formed of an elastomer material having satisfactory heat resisting characteristic and cushioning characteristic, and it has an internal cavity 16 for inserting the core shaft 15 of an equipment. The universal handle 10 has an elliptic sectional form, recessed parts are formed on the upper end part on both sides thereof, and flexible fin pieces 19 are provided at intervals in each recessed part, whereby a grip part is formed. Thus, when the universal handle 10 is held by the fingers of a user, the inside of the clenched fist is conformed to the shape of the universal handle, so that the handle 10 can be surely held. The thumb and forefinger are pressed to the grip part, whereby the holding can be reinforced. |
