<p>PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of dangerous stutations by performing the switching and control in responce to a specific voltage difference between the plugs in a port electric power center. CONSTITUTION: Three-pole plugs 16, 18 are inserted into the plug sockets when the electric power is supplied to a ship in a port electric power center 10. Cables 20, 22 connected with the plugs, are connected to an adapter device 25. A conductor L2 reaches a cable 32 through plugs 36, 34 at the other end of a contact to which L2 is connected, in the device 25. A neutral conductor N2 is connected to a neutral conductor N1 at a ship side of the contact. Accordingly, when the contact is opened, the electric current does not flow to the conductors L1 and L2 of the cable 32. A contact 38 is switched by the operation of a sensor and a control relay 40. The relay 40 is responds to the voltage on the phase conductors L1, L2, and the relay 40 closes the contact when the voltage between the both conductors is proper, thereby the electric power is sent to the ship through a connector 30.</p> |
