PURPOSE:To facilitate the specification of an area to be magnified and a reduced area on a screen at the time of scaling up/down a graphic on the screen and to confirm the size of the scaled graphic in accordance with the area prior to its determination. CONSTITUTION:At the time of receiving the data of the 1st point of the diagonal points of an area surrounding a part to be magnified in a graphic or a reduced area on the screen and another optional 2nd point from an area input editing processing part 5, an area size ratio calculating processing part 6 finds out the data of a rectangular area having the other diagonal point on a position passing the 1st and 2nd points and adjacent to the 2nd point and the graphic is scaled up/down in accordance with the ratio of the data to the size of the whole screen by a graphic input editing processing part 7. A graphic display processing part 8 temporarily displays the rectangular area and the scaled up/down graphic and determines and displays the temporarily displayed graphic by the specification of the 2nd point. |
