PURPOSE:To shorten time for inputting images by detecting coordinates and inclining angles by using the three kinds of first and second inclining angle detection sensors, extracting a required input object image from input images and executing coordinate transformation. CONSTITUTION:An input object 5 is conveyed by a carrier belt 6, an inclining angle detection sensor 10 is composed of two sensors perpendicular in a conveying direction while being vertically arranged and calculates an inclining angle theta according to detection timing difference. On the other hand, a second detection sensor 9 calculates a distance between the object 5 and a conveyer guide 11 and calculates deviation x in an X direction. Next, a first detection sensor 8 controls the read of an image sensor 4 by detecting the top of the object 5 from a laser beam between the both guides 11 and calculates y by using the inclining angle theta of the sensor 10. According to these deviations x and y, an image information transformation part 3 transforms picture elements in the shape of x-y coordinates shown by a real line in the figure to a coordinate form X-Y shown by a broken line. Thus, time for inputting images can be considerably shortened. |
