<p>PURPOSE:To offer the control flow improving the efficiency of data transfer in a network in which data transfer of an HIPPI interface via an ATM network of a BISDN is not affected by a delay in the network with respect to the flow control system in a broad band ISDN employing the ATM network. CONSTITUTION:A buffer storing the prescribed number of cells is provided on terminal adaptors 2, 5 corresponding to a transmission side and reception side HIPPIs, and the transmission side terminal adaptor 2 sends the ready information by a number equivalent to number of bursts capable of storing to a buffer 3 to the transmission side terminal equipment and stores transmission enable bursts independently of the ready signal from the reception side.</p> |
