PURPOSE:To improve the moisture resistance of a solid electrolytic capacitor by forming an electrolyte on the surface of a sintered pellet of valve-action metal powder and providing a cathode layer made to conductive silver paste containing an epoxy resin as a binder of the electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:After an anode lead 2 is planted on a sintered pellet 1 and a solid electrolyte crawling-up preventing plate 3 is put through the lead 2, a solid electrolyte made of manganese dioxide is formed by repeating impregnation with manganese nitrate and pyrolysis several times. After a carbon layer is formed on the sintered pallet 1, the pellet 1 is dipped in conductive sliver paste containing an epoxy resin as a binder so as to make the paste to adhere to the periphery of the pellet 1. Then the pellet 1 is heated so as to harden the paste 4 and, after it is confirmed that the paste 4 is hardened on finger contact, a leading-out lead wire 5 is welded to the anode lead 2 and a cathode lead 6 is soldered to the hardened body of the paste 4. |
