PURPOSE:To smoothly switch plural cell stations in a short time to improve the reliability and also to attain the voice communication as well as the data communication of a mobile object for a car telephone of a cellular system. CONSTITUTION:The position of a traveling object 1 is measured in a satellite position measurement system using the satellites 2A and 2B. A service area is divided into mirror zones A1, A2... and the cell stations 5A, 5B... are provided to those minor zones respectively. Then the telephone communication of the traveling object 1 is carried out by a car telephone of a cellular system where the radio communication is carried out with an access applied to the optimum one of minor zones. A center base station 3 and a telephone center station 4 are connected to each other in a satellite communication system for exchange of information. When the car telephone is used, the optimum one of cell stations is decided based on the position information on the traveling object 1 obtained in the satellite communication system. Then an access is applied to the optimum cell station. |
