<p>PURPOSE:To increase the glucose concentration and the utilization ratio of starch in the liquefaction and saccharification of cereal and to reduce the load of solid-liquid separation process. CONSTITUTION:The 1st liquefaction is performed under ordinary pressure at a temperature within the liquefaction temperature range (95-100 deg.C) in the presence of a liquefaction enzyme. The liquefaction enzyme is further added at least once to the above system and the 2nd liquefaction is performed under ordinary pressure at a liquefaction temperature of >=65 deg.C. The liquefied product is saccharified with a carbohydrase.</p> |
