Sepg. and/or purifying a gas stream contg. several vaporous materials, e.g. natural gas, is claimed, in which the gas stream is liquefied and the lower boiling portion evaporated as pure gas by introduction of heat partially from the liq.. USE/ADVANTAGE - The process is used to recover natural gas and esp. the lower boiling portions, e.g. methane. An exact sepn. between vaporous final prod., and liq. residue is guaranteed.
