A semi-permanent data store comprises a non-magnetic plastic sheet with two sets of orthogonal conductors 12-20 and 22-30 deposited on opposite faces, and magnetic wires diagonally looping the intersections, so that when one of the drive lines 12-20 is energized from 32 the sense lines 22-30 will each receive a pulse of polarity dependent on the orientation of the loop at the intersection which represents binary 1 or binary 0. The wires may be formed by a stapling operation through the sheet. |
