The machine packages hygienic paper prod. bundles into foil bags. It has a reciprocating thruster inserting the bundle, assembled on a lifting table, into the bag. At the top of the table(3) are side components (6,7), movable at right angles to the insertion direction, to compress the bundle in the transverse direction. The component is moved inwards as the table is lifted, and its movement is typically derived from the lifting movement.
