<p>PURPOSE:To improve the visually checkable property and visibility of a modified picture of an OCR system which reads character strings on a slip and displays recognized results and their original image data on a display screen. CONSTITUTION:This invention relates to the display method of an OCR system which displays recognized character strings outputted from an OCR device and the image data from which the character strings are recognized on a display screen and, when a cursor is positioned to a recognized character string in a character field on the display screen, the image data corresponding to the character string are displayed immediately below or above the said character field and the part of the image data corresponding to the recognized character indicated by the cursor is inverted. The part of the image data indicated by the cursor changes following the movement of the cursor.</p> |
