PURPOSE:To provide a grille mounting mechanism for an air-conditioning machine capable of effecting the opening and/or closing operation of the grille and ensuring stabilized opening and/or closing operation of the same. CONSTITUTION:A movable projection 12, provided on the connecting wall 10 of a grille 2 openable with respect to a panel 1, is permitted to be retained by a fixed projection 22 provided on the supporting wall 20 of the panel 1 by the relation of recess and projection under a condition that the grille 2 is opened by a predetermined angle with respect to the panel 1 while the supporting wall 20 and the connecting wall 10 are pinched by a leaf spring 30 and are energized so as to be approached to each other. Accordingly, when the grille 2 is opened by a predetermined angle, the movable projection 12 is retained elastically by a fixed projection 22 and the grille 2 is retained in the opened condition of the predetermined angle. |
