PURPOSE: To provide a supply device for traveling thread capable of threading automatically and securely, reducing cost of parts and a nozzle, and being manufactured simply. CONSTITUTION: In case of a supply device for traveling thread used in a fiber machine, in particular, such as a weaving machine, a thread F is supplied to a scope in front of a storage drum by a thread guide tube 9 rotating around the storage drum 11 and is withdrawn on a head part by a thread pulling out ring 19. To simplify automatic threading of the thread F by compressed air as much as possible, a thread end part flying freely in a vertical plane above the thread pulling out ring 19 is guided to an inner side in the radial direction toward the thread pulling out ring 19, and this guide is effected merely by a stream of suction air on an outer peripheral surface of a conical head part 16.
