<p>PURPOSE: To provide a faucet device provided with one air-supply device which functions with sure and basically installed at an arbitrary place under a washstand or sink, wherein a backflow of waste water from a shower head is prevented, related to a faucet device for a washstand or sink provided with a housing connected to a water-supply source piping and a shower head with a pullout type hose. CONSTITUTION: The air-supply device comprises as least one 3-way type shut-off valve 3 installed midway of piping to a showerhead, its shut-element 32 is housed between two facing valve seats 33 and 34 in a valve housing 31 for allowed movement, and one valve seat communicates with a water-supply inlet while the other one communicates with outside air, with a water-supply outlet 38 provided outside both valve seats, and further, the shut-off element 32 sits on the valve seat 33 communicating with the water-supply inlet under a specified force.</p> |
