PURPOSE:To simplify the communication processing by discriminating whether or not a facsimile store and forward equipment is incorporated in the communication system depending on an input telephone number of a caller from a facsimile adaptor. CONSTITUTION:Let a telephone number of a facsimile terminal equipment 12 be #AAA, a telephone number of a facsimile terminal equipment 13 be #BBB, and an access number of a facsimile store and forward equipment 40 be #FFF, then a connection discrimination section 22 discriminates it to be a connection via the store device 40 when the #BBB is inputted. When a caller 10 uses a terminal equipment 11 to enter the telephone number #AAA to make facsimile communication with the terminal equipment 12, the connection discrimination section 22 discriminates the connection to be not through the store device 40, a facsimile adaptor 21 sends the telephone number #AAA to a network 30 as it is and the terminal equipment 12 is directly connected. On the other hand, when the caller 10 enters the telephone number #BBB, the connection discrimination section 22 discriminates the connection to be through the store device 40, and a dial number conversion transmission section 23 adds a number #FFF of the device 40 and sends the result to the network 30 and is connected via the device 40. |
