PURPOSE: To provide an handle assembly adjustable for use with a variety of sleeves. CONSTITUTION: This handle assembly includes an open-ended sleeve 14 fixed to a valve stem by a screw inserted and removed freely through the open end. A removable cap 19 has four cross openings 24, 25, 26, 27 which align with four cross openings 20, 21, 22, 23 in the sleeve. Two cross members 29, 35, 36 are placed in the cross openings and interfitted inside the sleeve. The internal connection inside the sleeve is provided in part by a hole in one of the cross members. The cross members 29, 35, 36 have contacting surfaces for engaging the sleeve 14 and the cap 19. |
