This invention refers to a manual gripping device equipped with a handle and two legs that are specially designed for gramophone records and similar objects. Trying to handle gramophone records in a careful manner without leaving fingerprints on the records has presented a problem that, according to the invention, is resolved via a gripping device. The one leg (2) of the gripping device is permanently secured to the handle (1), which can be manoeuvred manually and supports the other moveable leg (3). The second leg (3) is connected to the handle (1) so that when this is actuated, the leg pivots from the first-mentioned leg (2) and when the handle (1) is not actuated, it is maintained in a position that is parallel with the latter leg to secure the object grasped against the fixed leg (2) with a clamping force actuated by the handle.<IMAGE> |
