Air-cooling system in mining excavations in rocks with higher initial temperature with the purpose of excavation of material in conditions permitted by mining and safety regulations, comprising a cooling compressor with freon circulation, coupled through a freon evaporator with cooling water circulation, connected with ventilation air cooler and through freon condenser with cooling water circulation, connected with water cooler, characterised in that a to-stage ventilation air cooler (8), connected to the cooling water circulation through cables (5 and 6), has a first level sprinkler chamber (11), preferably with three sets of sprinkler nozzles (15a, 15b and 15c), located counter-current, a second level sprinkler chamber (12), preferably with one set of sprinkler nozzles (23a), located co-current and two sets of sprinkler nozzles (23b and 23c), located counter-current, and a plate dripper (13) with sprinkler nozzles (17), located at the outlet of the ventilation air cooler. There are underneath both sprinkler chambers (11 and 12) build-in separate waste water containers (20, 24), at the same time collector (14) with the first level chamber (11) sprinkler nozzles (17) being connected to the inlet duct (5) for cooling water, second collector (22) with the second level chamber (12) sprinkler nozzles connected through a pump (21) with the waste water container (20) of the first level sprinkler chamber (11)...<IMAGE>
