A digitiser meter circuit wherein across the operating plane of the digitiser there are spread four grids (S1,...,S4) in the shape of a meander, the first two grids having a period d and being shifted in relation to each other by d/4 while the other two grids have a period preferably higher than d and are shifted in relation to each other by 1/4 of their period, the grids (S1,...,S4) being connected with amplification systems (W) and to systems (P) which measure the phase displacement of the voltages obtained from the grids in relation to voltage from the generator (G) that supplies the sensor (C).<IMAGE>
