In the electrophoretic white or (esp. light) colour enamelling of steel sheet by the two layer/single firing process, the base enamel has the properties: expansion coefficient (0-100 deg.C) less than 165 x 10 power (-7)/K; surface tension more than 300 mN/m.; transformation temp. 480-520 (pref. 490-510) deg.C; and flow value 15-30.
