The threaded insert has an outer part (4) with outer thread (2) and an inner part (5) with inner thread (6). The inner part is mounted in the outer part where it is rotationally secured but can swivel with its axis (19) opposite the axis (18) of the outer part (4). At one end the outer part can have an inwardly projecting dome like annular shoulder (7) adjoined by an end of the inner part whereby the inner part (5) is enclosed with play by the outer part (4). ADVANTAGE - Any axial stagger between the inner thread of the insert and the screw to be screwed into same can be compensated.
